Yes, Xiaomi could launch affordable smartwatch MI Watch Lite in India. Recently MI Watch Lite smartwatch has been spotted on Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS) certification by a known tipster.
Earlier MI Watch Lite was appeared on Xiaomi global website in December 2020. As per the available details MI Watch Lite looks like rebranded version of Redmi Watch which is slight cheap. This will be huge news for Xiaomi lovers that Redmi Watch will be rebranded as MI Watch Lite specially for Indian market.
MI Watch Lite first spotted on BIS Certification site by Mukul Sharma and he shared on his Twitter profile as well.

Mi Watch Lite expected features and specifications in India
Screen
MI Watch lite will have square display with round edges just like Fitbit Versa Smartwatch. MI Watch Lite may have 1.4 Inch LCD screen along with 320 x 320 resolution. Display of this smartwatch will have 120 different watch faces.
Strap
The strap of MI Watch Lite will be made of TPU or thermoplastic polyurethane and will be available in different colors too.
Features
This Xiaomi MI Watch Lite will have 11 different workout modes including running, treadmill, cycling, trekking, swimming and many more. As mentioned there is Swimming workout mode in this watch which means this watch is water resistant of 5 ATM. In simple language you can wear it underwater to depth of 50m for up to 10 minutes. You can easily swim with this watch.
Other important modes are sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring and other exercise modes. There is one unique counter in the watch which tells you number of times you stand up each day.
There are other common features available in this smartwatch as well like notification alert, calling, weather, music controls and more. This is entry level smartwatch along with GPS feature which means you don’t need phone by side while tracking the workout distance.
Battery Life
As per reports this watch will survive 9 days with single charge. This means the battery life of MI Watch Lite is incredible. Users can easily manage or access activity, workout data and stats on Xiaomi Wear Companion App.
MI Watch Lite Expected Price in India
Currently MI already selling one smartwatch in Indian market under MI Brand named MI Watch Revolve at 8999 INR price. As mentioned MI Watch Lite is rebranded version of Redmi Watch in China and if we compare price then it’s around Rs. 3400 in India. But MI won’t launch at this price so, the expected price of MI Watch Lite will be under Rs. 5000 in India.
