Step 1: Unlock your iPhone and go to the Home screen.
Step 2 : Locate and open the “Camera” app. It’s usually found in the bottom row of icons. Or just swipe left the screen and find the camera app.
Step 3: Position your iPhone so that the QR code you want to scan is within the camera’s viewfinder. Make sure the QR code is well-lit and clear.
Step 4: The Camera app should automatically recognize the QR code. You might see a yellow box or an indicator appearing on the screen, indicating that the QR code has been detected. Wait for a moment while the iPhone processes the QR code.
Step 5: Once the QR code is recognized, a notification banner will appear at the top of the screen. It will provide information about the QR code, such as a website link or an action to take.
Step 6: Tap on the notification banner to open the associated link or perform the specified action. If the QR code contains a website URL, it will open in the Safari browser by default.
If the QR code contains other types of information, such as a phone number, an email address, or a calendar event, a pop-up will appear, asking if you want to take the corresponding action. For example, you might be prompted to make a call or add an event to your calendar.
