Nokia is well-known of producing one of the best cell phones in the world before smartphone era. Nokia was an officially cell phone king before smart phones came. In 2007 Forbes magazine cover stated – “Nokia – One Billion Customers, Can anyone catch the Cell Phone King?”.
But, once the smart phone era came Nokia disappeared quickly and didn’t get time to revive in it’s own regime. Apple, Samsung and other leading smart phone making companies easily took over the Nokia market very quickly.
Well, here we won’t talk about the Nokia smartphones any more but will discuss about it’s Smart TVs market in India. Earlier Nokia launched 43-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch smart TVs in India and received quite a good response from the Indian audience. After this success now Nokia is planning to launch 2 more variation of Smart TVs in Indian market. This time Nokia will launch 32-Inch and 50-Inch smart TVs in Indian market. Both TVs configuration spotted on BIS certification by Nokia Power User.
On BIS certification site 2 model number spotted for new Nokia TVs. The first mode is Nokia 50TAUHDN which will be a 50-inch UHD 4K LED TV. Second model is Nokia 32TAHDN and it will be a 32-inch LED TV and highly possible that it will come with a Full-HD resolution because the model number has only “HD” and misses the letter “U”.
Earlier Flipkart launched Nokia-branded Smart TVs in India – Currently available Nokia Branded TVs are 43-inch (43CAUHDN), 55-inch (55CAUHDN), and 65-inch (65CAUHDN) TVs and all TVs come with UHD 4K resolution. In all those TV models JBL is behind the puresound of the TVs. All those Nokia Smart TVs come with come with Android 9 support, Dolby Audio, Dolby Vision, DTS TruSurround, Chromecast, and OTT media services with hotkeys for Netflix, YouTube, and Google Assistant.
As per new TV modes it seems like all the new TVs will also support all these features. If we consider the design it seems like all Nokia Smart TVs will come in bezel-less design and a fluid chrome pedestal. If we see the expected price of the new Smart TVs then 32-inch TV price will be less than ₹31,999 and new 50-inch TV will price between ₹31,999 and ₹41,999.
